Biography of Google founder (Larry Page , Sergey Brin)

Google was co-founded by Larry Page and Sergey Brin in 1998 while they were both Ph.D. students at Stanford University in California.

Larry Page was born on March 26, 1973, in East Lansing, Michigan, USA. He was raised in a family of computer science professors at Michigan State University. Page showed an early interest in technology and computers, building his first computer when he was just 6 years old.

Page went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan in 1995. He then went to Stanford University to pursue a Ph.D. in Computer Science. At Stanford, he met Sergey Brin, and the two began working on a search engine called Backrub, which later became Google.

In 1998, Page and Brin incorporated Google as a privately held company, with the mission to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful. They raised their first seed funding from family, friends, and other investors.

Under Page's leadership as CEO, Google became the world's most popular search engine, and expanded into a wide range of other products and services, including Google Maps, Google Drive, Google Docs, Gmail, and many more. Page also oversaw the development of the Android mobile operating system, which has become one of the most widely used mobile operating systems in the world.

Page has received numerous awards for his contributions to the technology industry, including the Marconi Prize, the Academy of Achievement's Golden Plate Award, and the Webby Lifetime Achievement Award.

In 2015, Page announced that he would step down as CEO of Google's parent company, Alphabet Inc., to focus on other projects, including his work with Calico, a research and development company focused on improving human health and longevity. Today, Larry Page remains one of the most influential and innovative technology leaders in the world.
